Siddis's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dream United FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Siddis's Erik Håland got a free kick in the 4th minute. Antonello Soccio in the 15thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Kevin Gilberg, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Nourredine Adjaoud took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henrik Aspås, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Herman Bakker blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kevin Gilberg having to make a save. When the match clock showed 21 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Antonello Soccio sped through Siddis's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Kevin Gilberg. Antonello Soccios short, quick shot in the 25thth minute got Kevin Gilberg to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 28 minutes into the match, Dream United FC's goal looked a bit too open when Henrik Aspås came free, but Nourredine Adjaoud reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Jim-André Flo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 31 played minutes Siddis got a freekick which was hit by Stig-Inge Tran. In the 33rd match minute, Siddis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rune Grøneng to maneuver through the defense. The audience held their breath when Antonello Soccio in the 36th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Kevin Gilberg's left hand side. If Henrik Aspås had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 46th minute of the match Daniel Frøseth sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nourredine Adjaoud skillfully saved the ball. Herman Bakker hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Nourredine Adjaoud showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erik Håland, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. 47 minutes into the match, Erik Håland had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nourredine Adjaoud. Dream United FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Erik Håland was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Erik Håland to make the kick off. Henrik Aspås's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Nourredine Adjaoud firmly grabbed it by the left post. Kevin Gilberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Antonello Soccio's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. In the 57th match minute, Siddis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sturle Tvete to maneuver through the defense. 61 minutes into the match, Dream United FC's goal looked a bit too open when Erik Håland came free, but Nourredine Adjaoud reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nourredine Adjaoud took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erik Håland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Erik Håland came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Siddis fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erik Håland couldn't finish the play. When Dream United FC's Antonello Soccio in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Nourredine Adjaoud showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erik Håland in the 73rd minute of the match. In the 77th minute Erik Håland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nourredine Adjaoud saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 78 minutes, the score became 3-2 when Antonello Soccio sped through Siddis's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Kevin Gilberg. In the 80th minute, Júnior da Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Siddis's Erik Håland got a free kick in the 84th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Antonello Soccio in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kevin Gilberg saved Siddis from getting behind. Nourredine Adjaoud stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Erik Håland's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. Siddis's Rune Grøneng shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 90th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Nourredine Adjaoud but with some difficulty. Dream United FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
