In the 17th minute, Bård Hem left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Midtun Fc fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bård Hem in the 23rd minute of play forced Tallaassæteren's goalkeeper Rikard Sollid to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Midtun Fc defense, Gyuro Ruski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Roy Jama. The Midtun Fc fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roy Jama should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bård Hem in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rikard Sollid saved Tallaassæteren from getting behind. Tallaassæteren's Rikard Sollid played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jo Øvstebø in the 30th minute of play. Gyuro Ruski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Roy Jama made a huge save. Rikard Sollid made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jo Øvstebø in the 36th minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, Johannes Westberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rikard Sollid. Tallaassæteren's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Johannes Westberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. Bård Hem took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rikard Sollid. Rikard Sollid dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. After 44 played minutes, Midtun Fc's Frank Tveter shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rikard Sollid came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Midtun Fc reached it. Bård Hem struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Rikard Sollid didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Midtun Fc. After the first half Midtun Fc were leading 1-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Erling Heggelund stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jo Øvstebø sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Laurits Høiby had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Erling Heggelund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roy Jama having to interfere. Tallaassæteren's Rikard Sollid played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jo Øvstebø in the 60th minute of play. Johannes Westberg hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Rikard Sollid made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johannes Westberg in the 63rd minute of play. In the 64th minute of the match, Bård Hem got a very nice opportunity to score, but Rikard Sollid was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 65th match minute, Tallaassæteren was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tormod Øye to maneuver through the defense. Rikard Sollid was out of position in the 69 minute of play, and Bård Hem capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Bård Hem really showed his touch with that goal: 1-6. Midtun Fc's Roy Jama played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Knut Garshol in the 72nd minute of play. 73 minutes into the match, Tallaassæteren's goalkeeper Rikard Sollid had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bård Hem. Johannes Westberg received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rikard Sollid came out and tried to block the shot, but Johannes Westberg slotted it home off the left post making it 1-7 in the 75th minute. Roy Jama showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erling Heggelund in the 81st minute of the match. Midtun Fc's Roy Jama played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tormod Øye in the 82nd minute of play. 84 minutes into the match, Midtun Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Erling Heggelund came free, but Roy Jama reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 85 minutes Midtun Fc's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gyuro Ruski who took care of the corner kick. Rikard Sollid showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jo Øvstebø, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Roy Jama took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erling Heggelund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 93 minutes of play, Midtun Fc's Bård Hem made it 1-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rikard Sollid was left in no man's land by his defense there! Midtun Fc's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
