After a rather tough play, Tallaassæteren's Jimmy Teigen got a free kick in the 7th minute. Gyuro Ruski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olaf Bødtker having to interfere. 13 minutes into the match, Predators's goal looked a bit too open when Erling Heggelund came free, but Olaf Bødtker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ole-Gunnar Forberg hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Olaf Bødtker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erling Heggelund in the 15th minute of the match. In the 18th minute, Erling Heggelund made a precise shot to the right of Olaf Bødtker. Predators's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Trond Welde in the 21st minute of play forced Tallaassæteren's goalkeeper Rikard Sollid to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Tallaassæteren's Gyuro Ruski got a free kick in the 24th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Dan Gamst managed to get in a good position for a shot. Predators's supporters rose to their feet, but Dan Gamst was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rikard Sollid breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Olaf Bødtker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Knut Garshol in the 30th minute of the match. In the 32nd minute, Predators's Trond Welde ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Rikard Sollid. Rikard Sollid yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Alf-Inge Sandbæk's late challenge caught a Predators's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alf-Inge Sandbæk helped the player get up and apologised. In the 38th minute, Alf-Inge Sandbæk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 43 played minutes, Tallaassæteren's Albert Løland shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Olaf Bødtker came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tallaassæteren reached it. Albert Løland took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 45th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Olaf Bødtker. Predators's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Rikard Sollid showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Trond Welde in the 48th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

In the 57th minute, Gyuro Ruski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tallaassæteren fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Trond Welde took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rikard Sollid. Rikard Sollid dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Rikard Sollid took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Trond Welde, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 67 minutes, the score became 4-2 when Christer Tvenge sped through Tallaassæteren's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rikard Sollid. Rikard Sollid showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dan Gamst in the 70th minute of the match. Omurtag Vúrlakov took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rikard Sollid. Rikard Sollid dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-2. After 76 minutes, Knut Garshol mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tallaassæteren and the Predators players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Predators booed when Tallaassæteren was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Knut Garshol didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rikard Sollid didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Christer Tvenge went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 6-2 was the resulting score. Olaf Bødtker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gyuro Ruski, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. In the 89th minute Erling Heggelund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olaf Bødtker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gyuro Ruski succeeded in the game's 92nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 6-3. Dan Gamst took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rikard Sollid. Rikard Sollid dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-3. When the referee ended the match the Predators players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
