Bergdal Stadion

Seating: 1875, VIP seats: 150) AC Wipes's Per-Kristian Åmodt started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When AC Wipes's Bendik Støa in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bergdal's goalie prevented a goal. David Kanestrøm struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Morten Ueland didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bergdal. Runar Økland sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Runar Økland's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Morten Ueland firmly grabbed it by the left post. Morten Ueland made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Runar Økland sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Bergdal booed when AC Wipes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tor-Arne Waaler didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 23 played minutes Runar Økland rounded AC Wipes's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. With a little luck, AC Wipes's Morten Ueland got control of the ball when Runar Økland tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Per-Kristian Åmodt fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AC Wipes's protests and gave Per-Kristian Åmodt a yellow card for diving instead. In the 32ndth minute of the game Runar Økland who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AC Wipes's Morten Ueland was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of AC Wipes booed when Bergdal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eivind Hay didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Bendik Støa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Bergdal's Eivind Hay got a free kick in the 43rd minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Runar Økland made a kick off. With a little luck, Bergdal's Ruben Lima got control of the ball when Per-Kristian Åmodt tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind AC Wipes's goalkeeper Morten Ueland, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Thomas Polden fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AC Wipes's protests and gave Thomas Polden a yellow card for diving instead. In the 63rd match minute, AC Wipes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thomas Polden to maneuver through the defense. Runar Økland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Morten Ueland having to interfere. Ruben Lima made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bendik Støa in the 68th minute. Julius Tveit's late challenge caught a Bergdal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Julius Tveit helped the player get up and apologised. Per-Kristian Åmodt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Ruben Lima made a huge save. 78 minutes had been played when some careless play by Bergdal's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Per-Kristian Åmodt was slow to take the kick. During this time AC Wipes's players had a chance to rest. After a rather tough play, Bergdal's Ludvik Seim got a free kick in the 80th minute. Ruben Lima made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Per-Kristian Åmodt in the 83rd minute of play. After some careless play in the AC Wipes defense, Runar Økland kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Morten Ueland. The AC Wipes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Morten Ueland should have stopped the shot. In the 90th minute, Per-Kristian Åmodt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 95 minutes into the game, André Askim was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bergdal's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AC Wipes the free kick. AC Wipes's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
