Spectators: 8423 (Terracing: 6318, Seating: 1937, VIP seats: 168) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fredrik Lægreid started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Daniel Aanstad got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fredrik Lægreid fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raymond Frøland having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Low Expectations's Trond Sandum threw himself towards the right post 13 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Daniel Aanstad, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 15th minute Daniel Aanstad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Trond Sandum saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kasper Fuglerud sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 31 played minutes Kilen got a freekick which was hit by Reidar Lauritsen. Trond Sandum was a little too slow when Stian Bratsberg got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 36th minute. The score was now 1-0. A collision led to Low Expectations getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Jonathan Brenne hit a great ball. Fredrik Lægreid received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Raymond Frøland tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Kilen booed when Low Expectations was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stian Bratsberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Trond Sandum acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 49th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Emil Mellem. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Aanstad made a kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fredrik Tronrud in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Trond Sandum prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 55 minutes into the match, Low Expectations's goal looked a bit too open when Fredrik Lægreid came free, but Raymond Frøland reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stian Bratsberg in the 58th minute of play forced Kilen's goalkeeper Trond Sandum to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Trond Sandum showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fredrik Tronrud, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. In the 64th minute, Daniel Aanstad ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Trond Sandum was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Oliver Gundersen hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Daniel Haugo shot a long shot in the 68th minute and a light blocked Trond Sandum hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 3-0. Raymond Frøland showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Svein Evjen in the 71st minute of the match. In the 85th minute, Daniel Aanstad left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Low Expectations fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. After 91 played minutes Kilen got a freekick which was hit by Fredrik Lægreid. Trond Sandum showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Aanstad, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Kilen players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Low Expectations.
