Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Østabø's Jan Standal started the match with a crisp pass. Iraki's Ståle Nyvold played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan Standal in the 11th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan Standal in the 13th minute of play forced Iraki's goalkeeper Ståle Nyvold to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 14th match minute, Iraki was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Åge Rønne to maneuver through the defense. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Iraki were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lino Pueblo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Iraki had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
