Fredrik Tronrud could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Ståle Kvarme made a huge save. After 17 minutes, Daniel Aanstad mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Low Expectations and the Østabø players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Low Expectations getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Daniel Aanstad hit a great ball. Stig-Inge Høines kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. 22 minutes into the match, Østabø's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Haugo came free, but Ståle Kvarme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, Low Expectations's goal looked a bit too open when Jan Standal came free, but Raymond Frøland reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Stian Bratsberg fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Low Expectations's protests and gave Stian Bratsberg a yellow card for diving instead. After 27 played minutes Low Expectations got a freekick which was hit by Stian Bratsberg. After a rather tough play, Østabø's Roald Nerheim got a free kick in the 29th minute. Raymond Frøland showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roald Nerheim, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. With a little luck, Østabø's Ståle Kvarme got control of the ball when Fredrik Tronrud tried to sneak it across the goal line. With an all-out effort, Low Expectations's Ståle Kvarme threw himself towards the right post 33 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Daniel Aanstad, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 37 minutes into the match, Low Expectations's goal looked a bit too open when Roald Nerheim came free, but Raymond Frøland reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Jonathan Brenne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raymond Frøland took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roald Nerheim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 47 minutes into the match, Low Expectations's goal looked a bit too open when Roald Nerheim came free, but Raymond Frøland reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jan Standal was the one to do the kick off. 55 minutes into the game, Low Expectations's Fredrik Tronrud nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ståle Kvarme made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Jan Standal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Low Expectations's Jonathan Brenne got a free kick in the 65th minute. In the 70th minute, Roald Nerheim ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Raymond Frøland was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Jonathan Brenne scored 3-1 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ståle Kvarme, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Daniel Haugo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 88th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ståle Kvarme. Østabø's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Tor-Arne Tangerud kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Daniel Haugo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 90th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ståle Kvarme. Østabø's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 93rd match minute, Low Expectations was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Brenne to maneuver through the defense. In the 96th minute, Daniel Aanstad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
