Spectators: 8424 (Terracing: 6371, Seating: 1953, VIP seats: 100) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Alex Leithe kicked off to start the match. MCFC's Heine Giese played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gjøran Idsø in the 5th minute of play. Heine Giese came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Arsenal FC's Alex Leithe. But to his dismay, Alex Leithe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 12 played minutes Arsenal FC got a freekick which was hit by Roar Minde. Heine Giese showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roar Minde, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Heine Giese showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Markus Strømnes in the 28th minute of the match. MCFC's Heine Giese played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roar Minde in the 29th minute of play. Heine Giese didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alex Leithe went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Heine Giese took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roar Minde, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th minute, Asmund Fosen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MCFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Heine Giese showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alex Leithe in the 44th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, MCFC's Kasper Tonheim got a free kick in the 45th minute. The supporters of Arsenal FC booed when MCFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robert Lind didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arild Helmersen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Andreas Karlsen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beniamin Gregorczyk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Heine Giese made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alex Leithe in the 56th minute. In the 57th minute, Arsenal FC's Roar Minde dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. In the 62nd match minute, Arsenal FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roger Hoem to maneuver through the defense. MCFC's Heine Giese proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save MCFC from getting a goal against them. 70 minutes into the match, MCFC's goal looked a bit too open when Roar Minde came free, but Heine Giese reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 74th minute, the referee gave Arsenal FC a penalty. Åsmund Lunde looked confident and blasted the ball into goal by the left post, totally unstoppable for Heine Giese. Gjøran Idsø kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Beniamin Gregorczyk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arild Helmersen in the 83rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Johnnie Ekström in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Beniamin Gregorczyk saved Arsenal FC from getting behind. 92 minutes into the match, Arsenal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Arild Helmersen came free, but Beniamin Gregorczyk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Markus Strømnes's late challenge caught a MCFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Markus Strømnes helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Arsenal FC getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Markus Strømnes hit a great ball. The Arsenal FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Arsenal FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
