Spectators: 7414 (Terracing: 5475, Seating: 1875, VIP seats: 64) In the 4th minute, Bergdal's Runar Økland dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Runar Økland took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ståle Nyvold. Ståle Nyvold dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Runar Økland could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Ståle Nyvold made a huge save. With a little luck, Iraki's Ståle Nyvold got control of the ball when Runar Økland tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Iraki defense, Runar Økland kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ståle Nyvold. The Iraki fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ståle Nyvold should have stopped the shot. Runar Øklands short, quick shot in the 34thth minute got Ståle Nyvold to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Runar Økland in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ståle Nyvold saved Iraki from getting behind. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Runar Økland was the one to do the kick off. After 54 minutes of play, Bergdal's Runar Økland made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ståle Nyvold was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Ludvik Seim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ståle Nyvold took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from André Askim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Iraki's Jan Sakshaug got a free kick in the 61st minute. Ståle Nyvold made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eivind Hay in the 62nd minute of play. A collision led to Iraki getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Åge Rønne hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, André Askim managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bergdal's supporters rose to their feet, but André Askim was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ståle Nyvold breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eivind Hay's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ståle Nyvold read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. With a little luck, Bergdal's Ruben Lima got control of the ball when Lino Pueblo tried to sneak it across the goal line. André Askim might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ståle Nyvold. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. André Askim ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience was convinced that Runar Økland's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ståle Nyvold was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. André Askim scored 6-0 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ståle Nyvold, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 87 minutes into the match, Runar Økland had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ståle Nyvold. Iraki's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Runar Økland was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. After a defensive mix-up in Iraki's zone, Runar Økland stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ståle Nyvold came out of the goal and Runar Økland tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Bergdal fully deserved thier win.
