The audience thought a goal was coming when Guaberto Valiente got free with Stein-Roger Silden in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After recieving a nice pass, Kanfjellien's Morgan Sanchez Minio tried to score from far away in the 59th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 62nd minute, Kanfjellien's Guaberto Valiente ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Stein-Roger Silden. Stein-Roger Silden yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-3. In the 68th minute of the match, Christoffer Skjelstad got a very nice opportunity to score, but Stein-Roger Silden was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ask Tønsberg in the 77th minute of play forced Kanfjellien's goalkeeper Henrik Hordvik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kanfjellien's Tití Camara got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match clock showed 84 minutes, the score became 3-5 when Henrik Systad sped through Kanfjellien's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Henrik Hordvik. The crowd rose to their feet as Christoffer Skjelstad kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Stein-Roger Silden. That made the score 3-6 in the 87 minute of play. When Guaberto Valiente fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick.
