In the 17th minute Fredrik Aalvik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Glyn Wedlock saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 19 minutes, Glyn Wedlock successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 20 minutes had been played when some careless play by Sagene IF's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Inge Børseth was slow to take the kick. During this time team pollen's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Fredrik Aalvik managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. After a rather tough play, team pollen's Dennis Stokkeland got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Sagene IF were awarded a corner in the 26th minute after team pollen's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Wang Zhen Tian took the corner. In the 28th minute, Ivan Óbolo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Durvalino Borges was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dennis Stokkeland in the 31st minute of play forced Sagene IF's goalkeeper Glyn Wedlock to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 33 played minutes team pollen got a freekick which was hit by Dennis Stokkeland. A collision led to team pollen getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Inge Børseth hit a great ball. In the 38th minute, Torstein Solli made a precise shot to the right of Durvalino Borges. team pollen's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Glyn Wedlock didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ali Nejat Özsungur went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Lennart Tonheim hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. After the first half Sagene IF were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Glyn Wedlock made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lennart Tonheim in the 52nd minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, Dennis Stokkeland notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Sagene IF's Glyn Wedlock. Glyn Wedlock was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ali Nejat Özsungur in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Glyn Wedlock prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Durvalino Borges made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivan Óbolo in the 65th minute of play. In the 68th minute, Dennis Stokkeland left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The team pollen fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Ali Nejat Özsungur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Glyn Wedlock tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Sagene IF's Durvalino Borges threw himself towards the right post 76 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Oscar Bergum, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Fredrik Aalvik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Glyn Wedlock having to interfere. Trym Jønsson hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. In the 89th minute, Wang Zhen Tian got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Glyn Wedlock took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dennis Stokkeland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. team pollen had won after a very even match.
