The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience was convinced that Hans-Martin Torvund's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Frode Stenersen was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Herrmann Körtge during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, FC Lakrisal's Herrmann Körtge got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 12th minute Hans-Martin Torvund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frode Stenersen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hans-Martin Torvund who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 18thth minute tested the skills of Frode Stenersen when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With a little luck, FC Lakrisal's Frode Stenersen got control of the ball when Sigve Ramberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rock Hard FC's Hans-Martin Torvund was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 22nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Rock Hard FC's Hans-Martin Torvund got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Sigve Ramberg put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Frode Stenersen. 29 minutes into the match, FC Lakrisal's goal looked a bit too open when Hans-Martin Torvund came free, but Frode Stenersen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31stth minute of the game Hans-Martin Torvund who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Lakrisal's Frode Stenersen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rock Hard FC's Frank Haavik got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rock Hard FC's Sigve Ramberg came free and shot a quick shot against goal 36 minutes in the game, fortunately Frode Stenersen had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hans-Martin Torvund in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Frode Stenersen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Herrmann Körtge was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 45 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, FC Lakrisal's Herrmann Körtge got a free kick in the 46th minute.

After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Sigve Ramberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rock Hard FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sigve Ramberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Frode Stenersen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tor-Arne Stokkeland hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Frode Stenersen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sigve Ramberg in the 55th minute of play. Rock Hard FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jim-André Kirkevold in the 56th minute. Ove Tøsse charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ove Tøsse the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 57 played minutes FC Lakrisal got a freekick which was hit by Ove Tøsse. When Rock Hard FC's Sigve Ramberg in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Frode Stenersen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hans-Martin Torvund in the 66th minute of play. Frode Stenersen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hans-Martin Torvund in the 69th minute of the match. Sigve Ramberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Frode Stenersen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 72 minutes of play, Rock Hard FC's Hans-Martin Torvund made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Frode Stenersen was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 78 minutes, Hans-Martin Torvund managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rock Hard FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hans-Martin Torvund was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 82 minutes of play, Rock Hard FC's Hans-Martin Torvund made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Frode Stenersen was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 85 played minutes FC Lakrisal got a freekick which was hit by Audun Nordlien. In the 88th minute, Constantino Estebe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 89 minutes, Hans-Martin Torvund managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rock Hard FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hans-Martin Torvund was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eilert Totland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frode Stenersen having to interfere. 95 minutes into the match, FC Lakrisal's Ove Tøsse sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kenneth Drange narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the referee ended the match the Rock Hard FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
