Linus Forbord didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Bjørkvik's goalkeeper Jens Bjørgo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jens Bjørgo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Preben Simonsen went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. RotløsFotball IL's Runar Helliesen got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Tarjei Åkre came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the RotløsFotball IL fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tarjei Åkre couldn't finish the play. 16 minutes into the match, Bjørkvik's goal looked a bit too open when Runar Helliesen came free, but Jens Bjørgo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. RotløsFotball IL's Preben Simonsen was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 20th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. 24 minutes into the match, Bjørkvik's goalkeeper Jens Bjørgo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Runar Helliesen. Jens Bjørgo was out of position in the 26 minute of play, and Preben Simonsen capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Preben Simonsen really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. In the 29th play minute Pacho Escobar came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jens Bjørgo. 4-0. 31 minutes into the match, Runar Helliesen notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Bjørkvik's Jens Bjørgo. Jens Bjørgo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 34 minutes of play, RotløsFotball IL's Runar Helliesen made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jens Bjørgo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jens Bjørgo was out of position in the 37 minute of play, and Tarjei Åkre capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tarjei Åkre really showed his touch with that goal: 7-0. In the 42nd minute of the match, Preben Simonsen got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jens Bjørgo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Tarjei Åkre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Jens Bjørgo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jens Bjørgo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Runar Helliesen in the 48th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kristoffer Løchen was the one to do the kick off. Bjørkvik's Jens Bjørgo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roy Davidsen in the 52nd minute of play. In the 53rd minute of the match RotløsFotball IL got a corner. Bjørkvik's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Preben Simonsen ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on RotløsFotball IL's corner Preben Simonsen fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jens Bjørgo quite easily take care of the ball. 55 minutes into the game, RotløsFotball IL's Tarjei Åkre nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jens Bjørgo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-0. Jens Bjørgo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Preben Simonsen in the 58th minute of the match. A collision led to Bjørkvik getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Birk Lundemo hit a great ball. In the 63rd minute, Tarjei Åkre ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jens Bjørgo was frozen by the shot and now it was 10-0. 72 minutes into the game, RotløsFotball IL's Tarjei Åkre nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jens Bjørgo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 11-0. 75 minutes into the game, RotløsFotball IL's Preben Simonsen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jens Bjørgo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roy Davidsen, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. The audience was convinced that Preben Simonsen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jens Bjørgo was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. Jens Bjørgo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Runar Helliesen in the 83rd minute of play. In the 84th minute, Runar Helliesen made a precise shot to the right of Jens Bjørgo. Bjørkvik's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 13-0. In the 88th minute, Tarjei Åkre left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The RotløsFotball IL fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 14-0. Birk Lundemo kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the RotløsFotball IL players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
