Despite this Borys Witek quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Brufoss IL's Borys Witek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sálvio Ferro in the 8th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Emanuel Markham put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Zemario Minjaraz. Zemario Minjaraz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kent Remme, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. After 22 played minutes Brufoss IL got a freekick which was hit by Christer Ribe. Brufoss IL's Borys Witek proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Brufoss IL from getting a goal against them. Borys Witek made an important save on a dangerous shot by Babe Bonk in the 24th minute. The supporters of KORV booed when Brufoss IL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan-Kenneth Heistad didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sálvio Ferro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Emanuel Markham stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Zemario Minjaraz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kai Østbye, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Remi Ekroll fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Borys Witek having to interfere. Borys Witek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sálvio Ferro in the 60th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, KORV's goalkeeper Zemario Minjaraz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kai Østbye.
