Spectators: 9205 (Terracing: 6905, Seating: 2117, VIP seats: 183) Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gunnar Dyrstad in the 2nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kenneth Knudsen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 4 minutes into the game, FK Dampsaga's Haluk Pamir nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kenneth Knudsen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. AEK FC's Kenneth Knudsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Haluk Pamir in the 7th minute of play. With 13 minutes on the clock, Preben Bjørkmo commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 14 played minutes FK Dampsaga got a freekick which was hit by Preben Bjørkmo. Bakezda Mann made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Steve Triganza sent off a good shot on target. Kenneth Knudsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gunnar Dyrstad in the 17th minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, AEK FC's goal looked a bit too open when Haluk Pamir came free, but Kenneth Knudsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th minute Divock Origi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bakezda Mann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, AEK FC's Kent Remme got a free kick in the 32nd minute. With a little luck, FK Dampsaga's Bakezda Mann got control of the ball when Steve Triganza tried to sneak it across the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, FK Dampsaga's goalkeeper Bakezda Mann had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leonard Sandvær. Bakezda Mann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kent Remme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eraldo Pallini hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gunnar Dyrstad to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the game, Steve Triganza cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Bakezda Mann was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gunnar Dyrstad got free with Kenneth Knudsen in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Claes Sundström hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Bakezda Mann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonard Sandvær in the 62nd minute of play. Jo Evenstad's late challenge caught a FK Dampsaga's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jo Evenstad helped the player get up and apologised. In the 67th minute, Jo Evenstad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gunnar Dyrstad recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kenneth Knudsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gunnar Dyrstad in the 71st minute of the match. 80 minutes into the match, AEK FC's goal looked a bit too open when Haluk Pamir came free, but Kenneth Knudsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd match minute, FK Dampsaga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eraldo Pallini to maneuver through the defense. Bakezda Mann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Steve Triganza, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Bakezda Mann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Divock Origi in the 90th minute of play. Bakezda Mann came out of the goal in the 97th minute to try and stop a shot by AEK FC's Leonard Sandvær. But to his dismay, Leonard Sandvær quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. The AEK FC support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
