After 2 played minutes AEK FC got a freekick which was hit by Divock Origi. Dennis Arvidsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Steve Triganza in the 4th minute of the match. Bjørn Østby was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 7 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 6th minute of the game. One of AEK FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Team E.C Dahls:s goal. The goalkeeper, Kenneth Knudsen, was totally fooled by Team E.C Dahls's Olaf Østby, who 8 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. When AEK FC's Divock Origi in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Team E.C Dahls's goalie prevented a goal. 19 minutes into the match, AEK FC's goalkeeper Kenneth Knudsen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rudolf Helberg. 21 minutes into the game, one of Team E.C Dahls:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Kenneth Knudsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mikael Herdlevær, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to AEK FC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Lars-Erik Angvik hit a great ball. In the 32nd minute Cornelius Bjørgo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dennis Arvidsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. AEK FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Steve Triganza in the 33rd minute. The corner led to AEK FC's Leonard Sandvær getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Olaf Østby hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Kenneth Knudsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olaf Østby in the 37th minute of the match. In the 38th minute Magnus Meier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kenneth Knudsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Magnus Meier succeeded in the game's 38th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-1. Jo Evenstad kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Magnus Meier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kenneth Knudsen having to interfere. 46 minutes into the match, Team E.C Dahls's goal looked a bit too open when Divock Origi came free, but Dennis Arvidsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kai-Arne Sortland could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Kenneth Knudsen made a huge save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Magnus Meier made a kick off. If Divock Origi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 54 minutes into the match, Team E.C Dahls's goal looked a bit too open when Divock Origi came free, but Dennis Arvidsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 63rd minute, Rudolf Helberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kenneth Knudsen was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. Kenneth Knudsen came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Team E.C Dahls's Mikael Herdlevær. But to his dismay, Mikael Herdlevær quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. In the 76th minute Rudolf Helberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kenneth Knudsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 78 minutes into the match, AEK FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rudolf Helberg came free, but Kenneth Knudsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kai-Arne Sortland kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Kenneth Knudsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rudolf Helberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 92nd minute Magnus Meier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kenneth Knudsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Team E.C Dahls had played much better football throughout.
