Spectators: 6697 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1697, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Patrick Rensenbrink started the match with the kick off. Hette Saelman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jean-Paul Dilling in the 3rd minute of the match. After 3 played minutes Noordwolde SC got a freekick which was hit by Wilfred Gerfen. Hette Saelman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tommie Kruijs in the 9th minute of play. Tommie Kruijs blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hette Saelman having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Wilfred Gerfen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Noordwolde SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Wilfred Gerfen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hette Saelman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hette Saelman came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Noordwolde SC's Tommie Kruijs. But to his dismay, Tommie Kruijs quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 25th play minutes Tommie Kruijs shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Hette Saelman and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Beemte FC's goalkeeper Hette Saelman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 30th minute, Jean-Paul Dilling hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hette Saelman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tommie Kruijs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 32 minutes of play, Noordwolde SC's Tommie Kruijs made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hette Saelman was left in no man's land by his defense there! Patrick Rensenbrink charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Patrick Rensenbrink the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Noordwolde SC booed when Beemte FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patrick Rensenbrink didn't get a good kick on the ball. 38 minutes into the match, Noordwolde SC's Wilfred Gerfen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hette Saelman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hette Saelman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tommie Kruijs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Wilfred Gerfen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Noordwolde SC's Tommie Kruijs in the 46th minute got a chance for a shot 46th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Beemte FC's goalie prevented a goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tommie Kruijs was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute, Noordwolde SC's Tommie Kruijs dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. Tommie Kruijss short, quick shot in the 63rdth minute got Hette Saelman to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Beemte FC's Hette Saelman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jean-Paul Dilling in the 66th minute of play. Tommie Kruijs could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Hette Saelman made a huge save. Jean-Paul Dilling in the 71stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Hette Saelman, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With his leg Hette Saelman managed to avoid a goal in the 72ndth minute, when Noordwolde SC's Tommie Kruijs fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Patrick Rensenbrink hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. In the 74th minute, John Stok got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tommie Kruijs might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hette Saelman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tommie Kruijs ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 80th match minute, Noordwolde SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Japke Baalen to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot 82 in the game by Tommie Kruijs from a close distance when the talented Hette Saelman managed to make a qualified save. Beemte FC's players were relieved. If Japke Baalen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 86th minute, Tommie Kruijs left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Noordwolde SC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. When the final whistle sounded Noordwolde SC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Beemte FC.
