Jan-Joost Ponk breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 6th match minute, Eindhoven United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramon Rodenberg to maneuver through the defense. Jan-Joost Ponk made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Damien Ax sent off a good shot on target. In the 40th minute, Apoena Mora got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. VFC De IJzerkoekjes's Olof Dijkstra suffered a concussion in the 44th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. After 44 minutes, Ricky Struik mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Eindhoven United and the VFC De IJzerkoekjes players grew even worse after the yellow card. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bill Wesseling during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Eindhoven United getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Bill Wesseling hit a great ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ricky Struik to strike the kick off in the second half. If Apoena Mora had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The audience was convinced that Apoena Mora's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jan-Joost Ponk was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. 60 minutes into the match, Damien Ax notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Eindhoven United's Jan-Joost Ponk. Damien Ax fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan-Joost Ponk having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Eindhoven United's Bill Wesseling got a free kick in the 84th minute. Jan-Joost Ponk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damien Ax, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jan-Joost Ponk came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by VFC De IJzerkoekjes's Damien Ax. But to his dismay, Damien Ax quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. If Apoena Mora had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Damien Ax had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Damien Ax fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan-Joost Ponk having to interfere. VFC De IJzerkoekjes walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
