Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Arjen Post made the kick off which started today's match. A collision led to Linden S.C. getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Danny Ridder hit a great ball. Harold Wielaert, 6 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arjen Post in the 7th minute of play forced Linden S.C.'s goalkeeper Harry Hagenouw to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Huib Jacobs hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Nico-Jan Stroeve came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Linden S.C.'s Jeffrey Zwiers. But to his dismay, Jeffrey Zwiers quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After a rather tough play, Rhenen FC's Arjen Post got a free kick in the 21st minute. Nico-Jan Stroeve showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arno van Aalderen in the 23rd minute of the match. Huib Jacobs kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. 27 minutes into the match, Arjen Post dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Harry Hagenouw, 1-1. Rhenen FC's Ed Vledder got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arjen Post in the 37th minute of play forced Linden S.C.'s goalkeeper Harry Hagenouw to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arjen Post was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 44th minute. Rhenen FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Linden S.C.:s Harry Hagenouw showed great skill when he stopped Harold Wielaert:s penalty.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Reinhard van der Leegte stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jeffrey Zwiers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nico-Jan Stroeve having to interfere. Arjen Post took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Harry Hagenouw. Harry Hagenouw dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Ed Vledder's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Harry Hagenouw read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. Reinhard van der Leegte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nico-Jan Stroeve having to interfere. After 76 minutes, Ed Vledder made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. Linden S.C.'s Harry Hagenouw tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Harry Hagenouw showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ed Vledder in the 81st minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jeffrey Zwiers got free with Nico-Jan Stroeve in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 89thth minute of the game Ed Vledder who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Linden S.C.'s Harry Hagenouw was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Harry Hagenouw showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arjen Post in the 91st minute of the match. Nico-Jan Stroeve showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reinhard van der Leegte in the 94th minute of the match. Arjen Post fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harry Hagenouw having to interfere. Rhenen FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
