Spectators: 7225 (Terracing: 5600, Seating: 1575, VIP seats: 50) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Kenneth van den Berg made the kick off which started today's match. After 4 minutes, Christiaan van Bommel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Turkije and the Flevo HC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 4th minute, Christiaan van Bommel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Flevo HC's Ger Anneese couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 5th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Turkije. Julius Post recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eelco Meijeringh showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hans Spanjaard in the 13th minute of the match. With a little luck, Turkije's Bastiaan Zandstra got control of the ball when Julius Post tried to sneak it across the goal line. Julius Post received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Bastiaan Zandstra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 20 minutes Turkije's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ger Anneese who took care of the corner kick. In the 21st minute, Kenneth van den Berg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Flevo HC's Julius Post got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Christiaan van Bommel kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Julius Post fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bastiaan Zandstra having to interfere. Julius Post sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gilbert Bot got free with Bastiaan Zandstra in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

In the 54th minute Flevo HC were awarded a corner. Ger Anneese went to the cornerflag to take it. 57 minutes into the game, Hans Spanjaard was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Turkije's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Flevo HC the free kick. After 64 minutes, Ron Stuifzand mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Flevo HC and the Turkije players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 67th minute, Christiaan van Bommel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julius Post in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bastiaan Zandstra saved Turkije from getting behind. Gilbert Bot might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bastiaan Zandstra. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gilbert Bot ran back to his position shaking his head. Julius Post sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Boukjan Hermensen kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. After 82 played minutes Turkije got a freekick which was hit by Hans Spanjaard. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julius Post in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bastiaan Zandstra saved Turkije from getting behind. Eelco Meijeringh made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hans Spanjaard in the 91st minute. Julius Post received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Bastiaan Zandstra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Flevo HC were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
