Spectators: 6714 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1714, VIP seats: 0) In the 6thth minute of the game Fabian de Wolf who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Wons FC's Kelvin de Vries was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 7 played minutes Wons FC got a freekick which was hit by Jan Rooze. Arjen Fokkens kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Wons FC's Frank Hoekstra got a free kick in the 12th minute. Antoon Jeuring showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nico-Jan Kok in the 14th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fabian de Wolf in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kelvin de Vries saved Wons FC from getting behind. Frank Hoekstra's late challenge caught a Molenstad's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Frank Hoekstra helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Wons FC's Frank Hoekstra got a free kick in the 16th minute. Fabian de Wolf sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ferry Israel's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Antoon Jeuring firmly grabbed it by the left post. Molenstad's Antoon Jeuring played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nico-Jan Kok in the 21st minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Wons FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fabian de Wolf came free, but Kelvin de Vries reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Wilco Wittendorp managed to get in a good position for a shot. Molenstad's supporters rose to their feet, but Wilco Wittendorp was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kelvin de Vries breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Henk Hof's late challenge caught a Molenstad's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Henk Hof helped the player get up and apologised. Henk Hof hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fabian de Wolf in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kelvin de Vries prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 33 minutes into the game, Molenstad's Wilco Wittendorp nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kelvin de Vries made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Wilco Wittendorp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kelvin de Vries having to interfere. Fabian de Wolf struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Kelvin de Vries didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Molenstad. Wilco Wittendorp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fabian de Wolf blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kelvin de Vries having to make a save. After the first half Molenstad were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nico-Jan Kok made a kick off. Fabian de Wolf recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Mark Meertens managed to get in a good position for a shot. Molenstad's supporters rose to their feet, but Mark Meertens was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kelvin de Vries breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kelvin de Vries showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilco Wittendorp, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Wons FC's Timo Ottens got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 63 minutes into the match, Nico-Jan Kok had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Antoon Jeuring. Molenstad's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nico-Jan Kok was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Mark Meertens took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kelvin de Vries. Kelvin de Vries dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. A collision led to Wons FC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Mathijs Everts hit a great ball. When Stefano van der Bij fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Molenstad's protests and gave Stefano van der Bij a yellow card for diving instead. After 74 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Molenstad! In the 76th minute there was a penalty for Wons FC. Mathijs Everts stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Antoon Jeuring. 2-3. Ferry Israel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Fabian de Wolf's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 86thth minute, Kelvin de Vries skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal.
