The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gertjan Schuiling during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Roodenhoek's Gertjan Schuiling got a free kick in the 9th minute. After some careless play in the Roodenhoek defense, Kristof Kosterman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edward Ronde. Gertjan Schuiling kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. In the 38th minute, Kristof Kosterman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nieuwoord RKSV fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3.
