Gert Hofman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for OLIFANTEN UNITED. Wittewerf's Coos Aalst got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leon Onrust recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Wittewerf's zone, Coos Boezeman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gert Hofman came out of the goal and Coos Boezeman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Leon Onrust came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the OLIFANTEN UNITED fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leon Onrust couldn't finish the play. Jelle Schoonbeek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gert Hofman having to interfere. Wittewerf's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erik Ihselmann was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Coos Boezeman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rdth minute of the game Coos Boezeman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Wittewerf's Gert Hofman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erik Ihselmann in the 60th minute of play forced OLIFANTEN UNITED's goalkeeper Filip Kolman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Coos Aalst managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wittewerf's supporters rose to their feet, but Coos Aalst was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Filip Kolman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 64th minute Erik Ihselmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filip Kolman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Coos Aalst in the 67th minute of play forced OLIFANTEN UNITED's goalkeeper Filip Kolman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Erik Ihselmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Coos Aalst in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Filip Kolman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Coos Aalst in the 76th minute of play forced OLIFANTEN UNITED's goalkeeper Filip Kolman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 79 minutes into the match, OLIFANTEN UNITED's goal looked a bit too open when Coos Aalst came free, but Filip Kolman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elbert Heersprink hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Kristof Holst took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 82nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Filip Kolman. OLIFANTEN UNITED's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 83 played minutes OLIFANTEN UNITED got a freekick which was hit by Elbert Heersprink. Filip Kolman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnout Hummel, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. Wittewerf's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
