Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jacco Rensenbrink took the kick off in the first half of the match. The supporters of Haghoek S.C. booed when Kilisspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnout Dost didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Haghoek S.C.'s Jacco Rensenbrink slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Marinus Eschendaal. That made the score 1-0 after 5 minutes of play. With a little luck, Kilisspor's Marinus Eschendaal got control of the ball when Ate Brunt tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 10th minute, Huib Buring hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 12th match minute, Kilisspor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Huib Buring to maneuver through the defense. Anton Ubels fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Willem Germs having to interfere. In the 23rd minute, Rudolf Sybering hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 26th minute, Jacco Rensenbrink got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Jacco Rensenbrink came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Haghoek S.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jacco Rensenbrink couldn't finish the play. When Huib Erenstein fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kilisspor's protests and gave Huib Erenstein a yellow card for diving instead. Huib Erenstein kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. 38 minutes into the match, Kilisspor's goalkeeper Marinus Eschendaal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ate Brunt. After 40 minutes Kilisspor's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Robert-Jan Hummel who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Ryan Alards almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Kilisspor's Marinus Eschendaal did a great save. Ate Brunt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Marinus Eschendaal made a huge save. Willem Germs didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Matthijs Sturm went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Matthijs Sturm made a kick off. An unexpected shot in the 55th minute by Anton Ubels got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Anton Ubels's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 60thth minute, Willem Germs skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Marinus Eschendaal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ate Brunt in the 62nd minute of the match. Anton Ubels recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ate Brunt in the 70th minute of play forced Kilisspor's goalkeeper Marinus Eschendaal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Ate Brunt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Huib Buring fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Willem Germs having to interfere. Marinus Eschendaal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacco Rensenbrink, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Ate Brunt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anton Ubels who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 84thth minute tested the skills of Willem Germs when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Matthijs Sturm struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Willem Germs didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kilisspor. Marinus Eschendaal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ate Brunt in the 88th minute of play. Jacco Rensenbrink sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 90th minute, Huib Erenstein hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 96th minute Jacco Rensenbrink shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marinus Eschendaal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Jacco Rensenbrink had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
