Anton Ubels fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gio Blommaart having to interfere. Oudkerk HC's Gio Blommaart played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matthijs Sturm in the 7th minute of play. Matthijs Sturm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Anton Ubels had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oudkerk HC's Gio Blommaart played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edwin van der Sar in the 12th minute of play. After having played for 16 minutes, Anton Ubels managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kilisspor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anton Ubels was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kilisspor's Anton Ubels got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Kilisspor getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Huib Buring hit a great ball. After 28 played minutes, Oudkerk HC's Frank Hoeksma shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Marinus Eschendaal came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Oudkerk HC reached it. After 29 minutes, Pascall Engbers mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Oudkerk HC and the Kilisspor players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Oudkerk HC's Pascall Engbers got a free kick in the 29th minute. Kilisspor were furious when Julius Bouwens was red carded, 32 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 31 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Kilisspor! Meindert Bruinsma kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. If Anton Ubels had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kilisspor's Huib Buring suffered a concussion after 47 minutes and had to leave the field. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Niels van Zomeren to strike the kick off in the second half. Fabiën Meinders charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fabiën Meinders the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Fabiën Meinders kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Gio Blommaart showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Huib Erenstein in the 68th minute of the match. In the 69th minute of the match Kilisspor got a corner. Oudkerk HC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Derk Maurits ran over to the corner to take the kick. Kilisspor's Anton Ubels got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In a very dangerous position, a player in Oudkerk HC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 76th minute. Penalty! Pascall Engbers recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Edwin van der Sar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Kilisspor booed when Oudkerk HC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Meindert Bruinsma didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 91st minute, Johannes Ros had to leave the field with a concussion. 91 minutes into the game, Huib Erenstein was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kilisspor's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Oudkerk HC the free kick. In the 92nd minute, Huib Erenstein hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Huib Erenstein received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Gio Blommaart tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Meindert Bruinsma in the 100th minute of play forced Kilisspor's goalkeeper Marinus Eschendaal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
