Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Toni Hendriks made the kick off and thus started the match. Luuk Tinge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Toni Hendriks in the 3rd minute of the match. Kelvin Oevermans sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 12th minute, Olof Heebels hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 17 minutes into the match, Achterlo's goal looked a bit too open when Toni Hendriks came free, but Luuk Tinge reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 19 minutes of play, Kamperveen V.V.'s Kelvin Oevermans made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luuk Tinge was left in no man's land by his defense there! Olof Heebels charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Olof Heebels the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Olof Heebels kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Cees Weggemans made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jacques Wiggers in the 30th minute. Jacques Wiggers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cees Weggemans having to interfere. In the 36th match minute, Kamperveen V.V. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bram Steelman to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Achterlo's zone, Bram Steelman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luuk Tinge came out of the goal and Bram Steelman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 46 minutes, Timo van der Bij mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Achterlo and the Kamperveen V.V. players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 46 played minutes Achterlo got a freekick which was hit by Timo van der Bij. Toni Hendriks sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Achterlo players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Kamperveen V.V. were winning 0-1.

Cees Weggemans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacques Wiggers, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. When Kamperveen V.V.'s Toni Hendriks in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Achterlo's goalie prevented a goal. Carel Onderwater recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jacques Wiggers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Achterlo's Carel Onderwater got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Frederik Traa kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Anthony Oosterbaan struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Luuk Tinge didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kamperveen V.V.. When Bram Steelman fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kamperveen V.V.'s protests and gave Bram Steelman a yellow card for diving instead. Bram Steelman hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Frederik Traa took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 81st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cees Weggemans. Kamperveen V.V.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Demy Wijk during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Kamperveen V.V.'s Cees Weggemans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacques Wiggers in the 86th minute of play. The Kamperveen V.V. supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Kamperveen V.V. would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
