A collision led to FC Mokerslag getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Marco Sparnaaij hit a great ball. In the 14th minute, Ed Bosz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ad Mortuum Mei Bibi Y.A.'s Bart Tellingen got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 20 minutes into the game, Bart Tellingen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ad Mortuum Mei Bibi Y.A.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Mokerslag the free kick. After 20 played minutes Ad Mortuum Mei Bibi Y.A. got a freekick which was hit by Bart Tellingen. If Ed Bosz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gijsbert Germs recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Gijsbert Germs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 36th minute, Ad Mortuum Mei Bibi Y.A.'s goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Gijsbert Germs fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Gijsbert Germs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maurits Verhoeven having to interfere. Gijsbert Germs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gijsbert Germs to make the kick off. Maurits Verhoeven showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tom Teunissen, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Pieter Steelman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sjors Pluym having to interfere. Sjors Pluym made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Bart Tellingen sent off a good shot on target. Ed Bosz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Maurits Verhoeven tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Gijsbert Germs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. In the 83rd match minute, FC Mokerslag was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexander Eylens to maneuver through the defense. After 85 minutes of play, FC Mokerslag's Ed Bosz made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maurits Verhoeven was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 94th minute, Ed Bosz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gijsbert Germs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Maurits Verhoeven tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. FC Mokerslag fully deserved thier win.
