Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Kevin Roordink got the match started through his kick off. 6 minutes into the match, Ajax FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kevin Roordink came free, but Pieter-Jan Busch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Olaf de Putter struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Pieter-Jan Busch didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Geestdorp SV. After a rather tough play, Ajax FC's Aad Spanjer got a free kick in the 10th minute. Pieter-Jan Busch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kevin Roordink, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 12 minutes into the game, Stef Meyer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ajax FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Geestdorp SV the free kick. Koen Theisens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Klaus Zoolingen having to interfere. 17 minutes into the match, Geestdorp SV's goal looked a bit too open when Koen Theisens came free, but Klaus Zoolingen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Klaus Zoolingen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Koen Theisens in the 18th minute of play. In the 19th minute, Jan Peppinck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ben Nieuwburg got free with Klaus Zoolingen in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Klaus Zoolingen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Koen Theisens in the 26th minute of play. Pieter-Jan Busch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olaf de Putter in the 28th minute of the match. If Koen Theisens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 32 minutes into the game, Jan Peppinck was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Geestdorp SV's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ajax FC the free kick. After a defensive mix-up in Geestdorp SV's zone, Koen Theisens stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Klaus Zoolingen came out of the goal and Koen Theisens tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 39th match minute, Geestdorp SV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan Peppinck to maneuver through the defense. In the 40th minute, Adriaan Ijksma sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Geestdorp SV's Klaus Zoolingen didn't even have to move. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olaf de Putter in the 43rd minute of play forced Ajax FC's goalkeeper Pieter-Jan Busch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olaf de Putter recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Koen Theisens to strike the kick off in the second half. Koen Theisens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Klaus Zoolingen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Olaf de Putter got free with Pieter-Jan Busch in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Adriaan Ijksma charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adriaan Ijksma the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Adriaan Ijksma hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Koen Theisens managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ajax FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Koen Theisens was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Klaus Zoolingen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pieter-Jan Busch made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Olaf de Putter sent off a good shot on target. Koen Theisens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Klaus Zoolingen having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ben Nieuwburg in the 85th minute of play forced Geestdorp SV's goalkeeper Klaus Zoolingen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Klaus Zoolingen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Koen Theisens in the 88th minute of the match. Olaf de Putter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pieter-Jan Busch having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Ajax FC had won after a very even match.
