Spectators: 7432 (Terracing: 5575, Seating: 1709, VIP seats: 148) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Edwin Krijnenburg took the kick off in the first half of the match. Werner Rieks fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferdinant Anneese having to interfere. In the 5th minute, Leandro Birjaio made a precise shot to the right of Ferdinant Anneese. Bilboa Emphes's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Werner Rieks struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Ferdinant Anneese didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for HFC Haarlem. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcus Lensen in the 11th minute of play forced HFC Haarlem's goalkeeper Damien Zegeling to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Marcus Lensen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcus Lensen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Damien Zegeling tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Bilboa Emphes's zone, Jurjen Zeydeveld stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ferdinant Anneese came out of the goal and Jurjen Zeydeveld tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leon Lamberts's late challenge caught a HFC Haarlem's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leon Lamberts helped the player get up and apologised. Ferdinant Anneese had in the 31stth minute some difficulties stopping Thijs Engbers's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 32 minutes into the game, Alexander Elshot was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bilboa Emphes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave HFC Haarlem the free kick. The supporters of HFC Haarlem booed when Bilboa Emphes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexander Elshot didn't get a good kick on the ball. HFC Haarlem's Johannes Nordin shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 34th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Ferdinant Anneese but with some difficulty. In the 36th minute, Werner Rieks got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 39 minutes into the match, HFC Haarlem's goal looked a bit too open when Marcus Lensen came free, but Damien Zegeling reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leandro Birjaio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 46 minutes of play, Bilboa Emphes's Jacco Blikman made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Damien Zegeling was left in no man's land by his defense there!

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Werner Rieks to strike the kick off in the second half. Leandro Birjaio scored 2-1 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ferdinant Anneese, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Edwin Krijnenburg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Werner Rieks sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Werner Rieks had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ferdinant Anneese showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Werner Rieks in the 69th minute of the match. After 75 played minutes Bilboa Emphes got a freekick which was hit by Alexander Elshot. Bilboa Emphes were furious when Roger Keupink was red carded, 80 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 79 minutes into the game, one of Bilboa Emphes:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 85th minute, Jonathan Krijnenburg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 87 minutes into the game, HFC Haarlem's Werner Rieks nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ferdinant Anneese made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. Werner Rieks's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ferdinant Anneese read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. HFC Haarlem fully deserved thier win.
