In the 7th minute, Bruno Zuid got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bruno Zuid fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maurits Weken having to interfere. Maurits Weken made an important save on a dangerous shot by Simon van Zeist in the 11th minute. Maurits Weken showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Zuid in the 16th minute of the match. Woudenberg FC's Maurits Weken played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Zuid in the 27th minute of play. In the 28th minute Bruno Zuid shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maurits Weken saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bruno Zuid fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maurits Weken having to interfere. In the 34thth minute of the game Bruno Zuid who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Woudenberg FC's Maurits Weken was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bruno Zuid scored 1-0 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Maurits Weken, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Simon van Zeist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Maurits Weken tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Simon van Zeist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Maurits Weken made a huge save. After 43 minutes, Cobus Hateboer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Woudenberg FC and the Sappemeer players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cobus Hateboer kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Woudenberg FC's zone, Bruno Zuid stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maurits Weken came out of the goal and Bruno Zuid tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Erik Kristoffers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gerard Koops to strike the kick off in the second half. Cobus Hateboer got his second yellow card in the match during the 60th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 61 played minutes Woudenberg FC got a freekick which was hit by Cobus Hateboer. Bruno Zuid fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maurits Weken having to interfere. Simon van Zeist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 68th minute Simon van Zeist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maurits Weken saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Sappemeer booed when Woudenberg FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wim Robben didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maurits Weken made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruno Zuid in the 70th minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, Woudenberg FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bruno Zuid came free, but Maurits Weken reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 79th match minute, Woudenberg FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wim Robben to maneuver through the defense. A hard and well directed shot from Berend Grasmaaijer led 80 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. Woudenberg FC's Maurits Weken became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 2-0. Maurits Weken took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Simon van Zeist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Simon van Zeist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maurits Weken having to interfere. After having played for 89 minutes, Bruno Zuid managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sappemeer's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bruno Zuid was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bruno Zuid blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Maurits Weken having to make a save. 97 minutes into the game, Simon van Zeist cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Maurits Weken was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
