Spectators: 7432 (Terracing: 5575, Seating: 1709, VIP seats: 148) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Kurt Pals took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 5 played minutes FC B.I.D.S. got a freekick which was hit by Billy Oosterhof. After 12 minutes of play, Woudenberg FC's Cobus Hateboer made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alex Damen was left in no man's land by his defense there! Erik Kristoffers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alex Damen having to interfere. Bob Spijker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Maurits Weken tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 20th minute, Kurt Pals reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Maurits Weken. The goal made the score 1-1. Alex Damen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Robben in the 23rd minute of play. In the 26th minute Cobus Hateboer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alex Damen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kurt Pals fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maurits Weken having to interfere. Maurits Weken stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kurt Pals's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Bob Spijker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maurits Weken having to interfere. Carlo Ansoldi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 39 minutes into the game, Woudenberg FC's Erik Kristoffers nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alex Damen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Maurits Weken made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Kurt Pals sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerard Koops in the 47th minute of play forced FC B.I.D.S.'s goalkeeper Alex Damen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gerard Koops to strike the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 51 minutes, Kurt Pals put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Maurits Weken. Maurits Weken stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kurt Pals's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. The audience was convinced that Kurt Pals's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maurits Weken was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. After some careless play in the Woudenberg FC defense, Bob Spijker kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Maurits Weken. The Woudenberg FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maurits Weken should have stopped the shot. When FC B.I.D.S.'s Kurt Pals in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Woudenberg FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 78th minute Gerard Koops shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alex Damen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Kurt Pals had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maurits Weken showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bob Spijker, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Bob Spijker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Maurits Weken tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the FC B.I.D.S. players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
