A throw-in in the 13th minute of the game was made by Borys Banach with Jaroslaw Kilar as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. If Rik Pilage had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlinhos da Fonseca's late challenge caught a All Stars's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carlinhos da Fonseca helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of All Stars booed when Gourmet F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlinhos da Fonseca didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Kelvin Mols came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the All Stars fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kelvin Mols couldn't finish the play. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gourmet F.C's goalkeeper Mirko de Bruin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With an all-out effort, All Stars's Mirko de Bruin threw himself towards the right post 42 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Cobus van Ankeren, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 48thth minute of the game Fernando Wieringh who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gourmet F.C's Mirko de Bruin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fernando Wieringh to make the kick off. Mirko de Bruin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kelvin Mols in the 53rd minute of the match. 54 minutes into the match, Gourmet F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Cobus van Ankeren came free, but Mirko de Bruin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ted Muskee made in the 59th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Fernando Hilbrands however managed to control. Fernando Wieringh took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mirko de Bruin. Mirko de Bruin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ted Muskee during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ted Muskee kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Wouter Ros acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 78th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Henry Klaassen. Carlinhos da Fonseca hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Mirko de Bruin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Wieringh in the 85th minute of play. 90 minutes into the match, Cobus van Ankeren had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mirko de Bruin. Gourmet F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cobus van Ankeren was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Gourmet F.C made a substitution.
