Spectators: 6713 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1713, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Corné Stuifzand started the match with the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Corné Stuifzand in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Allard Winters saved Djept from getting behind. Corné Stuifzand charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Corné Stuifzand the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Leendert Looze received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Iker Casillas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ajax Waspik's Iker Casillas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ger Wansink in the 12th minute of play. 19 minutes into the game, Benedicto Llorian was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ajax Waspik's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Djept the free kick. Benedicto Llorian hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Iker Casillas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leendert Looze in the 24th minute of the match. In the 24th minute, Benedicto Llorian hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Ajax Waspik's Iker Casillas got control of the ball when Ger Wansink tried to sneak it across the goal line. Iker Casillas was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Leendert Looze showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 34 minute of play. In the 40th minute Gert Hohenstein shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Allard Winters saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Allard Winters showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Corné Stuifzand in the 42nd minute of the match. Gert Hohenstein fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Allard Winters having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leendert Looze to make the kick off. A collision led to Ajax Waspik getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Martijn de Graaf hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ger Wansink in the 53rd minute of play forced Ajax Waspik's goalkeeper Iker Casillas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leendert Looze fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iker Casillas having to interfere. In the 56th match minute, Ajax Waspik was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martijn de Graaf to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Djept's zone, Gert Hohenstein stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Allard Winters came out of the goal and Gert Hohenstein tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 61 minutes, Gert Hohenstein managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ajax Waspik's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gert Hohenstein was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gert Hohenstein sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leendert Looze struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Iker Casillas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Djept. 79 minutes into the match, Djept's goalkeeper Allard Winters had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Corné Stuifzand. Gert Hohenstein recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gert Hohenstein struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Allard Winters didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ajax Waspik. Ger Wansink fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iker Casillas having to interfere. Ajax Waspik were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
