Katendrecht's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Readymountains the free kick. The referee ignored Readymountains's protests and gave David Broers a yellow card for diving instead. After 18 played minutes Readymountains got a freekick which was hit by David Broers. Katendrecht's Rolf Schattenberg got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eelco Ronde stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Coos Sandstra's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. In the 27th match minute, Katendrecht was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Egbert van der Schaaf to maneuver through the defense. When Albert Need came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Readymountains fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Albert Need couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Albert Need in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rinus Maes saved Katendrecht from getting behind. Rinus Maes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albert Need in the 40th minute of play. The supporters of Katendrecht booed when Readymountains was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 49 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Broers didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bertus Boezem took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 50th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Eelco Ronde. Readymountains's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.

Readymountains's defense didn't have a chance, in the 55th minute, when Coos Sandstra scored to the left of an out of position Eelco Ronde, making the score, 0-1. After having played for 58 minutes, Wouter Ronde managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Readymountains's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wouter Ronde was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Johannes Hammen, 62 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Rinus Maes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 75th minute, Albert Need got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Melvin Lambers kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Henry Brons during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Readymountains's Henry Brons got a free kick in the 84th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Albert Need managed to get in a good position for a shot. Readymountains's supporters rose to their feet, but Albert Need was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rinus Maes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Readymountains had won after a very even match.
