Jacco de Rudder came out of the goal and Gerard Lamberts tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jacco de Rudder made an important save on a dangerous shot by Folkert Lodewijks in the 6th minute. Atletico Hier's Jacco de Rudder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bram Helwig in the 11th minute of play. Folkert Lodewijks could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Jacco de Rudder made a huge save. Atletico Hier's Jacco de Rudder proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Atletico Hier from getting a goal against them. Folkert Lodewijks could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Jacco de Rudder made a huge save. Steve Meindert kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. If Bram Helwig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bram Helwig was the one to do the kick off. Pieter Gerfen took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 53rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jacco de Rudder. Atletico Hier's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Folkert Lodewijks in the 77th minute of play forced Atletico Hier's goalkeeper Jacco de Rudder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Atletico Hier's Jacco de Rudder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerard Lamberts in the 83rd minute of play. Geert van Dartel in the 86thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Mathieu Hostede, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 96th minute, Domenik Derks hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Hebrecht had played much better football throughout.
