When Erik Hoogsteen fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zuidzande's protests and gave Erik Hoogsteen a yellow card for diving instead. Erik Hoogsteen kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Baltazar Costa's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 22ndth minute, Joop Baan skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With an all-out effort, Hijkersmilde's Joop Baan threw himself towards the right post 29 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Franklin Loyola, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Derk van Schaik to make the kick off. After 54 minutes of play, Hijkersmilde's Baltazar Costa made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joop Baan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Eddy Kolman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joop Baan having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Zuidzande's Japke van der Meer got a free kick in the 59th minute. A collision led to Zuidzande getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Daniel Dongen hit a great ball. Joop Baan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baltazar Costa in the 67th minute of play. Roel Westerhof fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joop Baan having to interfere. 70 minutes into the match, Franklin Loyola had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joop Baan. Zuidzande's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Franklin Loyola was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. 75 minutes into the match, Hijkersmilde's goal looked a bit too open when Derk van Schaik came free, but Henny Davids reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joop Baan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paul Fleur, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Baltazar Costa struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Joop Baan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hijkersmilde. In the 84th minute, Baltazar Costa made a precise shot to the right of Joop Baan. Zuidzande's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Derk van Schaik in the 87th minute of play forced Hijkersmilde's goalkeeper Henny Davids to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Henny Davids made an important save on a dangerous shot by Japke van der Meer in the 89th minute.
