With a little luck, Rozenburg HC's Floris Vonk got control of the ball when Heribert Erl tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 5th minute, Vionis Spahiu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Floris Vonk was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Rozenburg HC's Floris Vonk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vionis Spahiu in the 9th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Theo Brans in the 10th minute of play forced Rozenburg HC's goalkeeper Floris Vonk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Rozenburg HC getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Marnix Blom hit a great ball. Heribert Erl could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Floris Vonk made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vionis Spahiu in the 18th minute of play forced Rozenburg HC's goalkeeper Floris Vonk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Floris Vonk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vionis Spahiu, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Heribert Erl came free with the goalkeeper in the 24th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Floris Vonk could save by the left post. 26 minutes into the game, Theo Brans recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Floris Vonk. Theo Brans showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Jelmer Cruijff made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marnix Blom in the 30th minute of play. In the 33rd minute Marnix Blom shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jelmer Cruijff saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Heribert Erl put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Floris Vonk. 37 minutes into the match, Rozenburg HC's goalkeeper Floris Vonk had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Theo Brans. Jan Hendrik Roordink received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Jelmer Cruijff tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marnix Blom scored 3-1 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jelmer Cruijff, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 45th minute Vionis Spahiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Floris Vonk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jan Hendrik Roordink to strike the kick off in the second half. Vionis Spahiu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 54 minutes, Carel van Loo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rozenburg HC and the Fryslân Boppe players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Fryslân Boppe booed when Rozenburg HC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carel van Loo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 58 minutes into the match, Theo Brans notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Rozenburg HC's Floris Vonk. Floris Vonk was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 61 minutes into the match, Vionis Spahiu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Floris Vonk. Rozenburg HC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vionis Spahiu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. Floris Vonk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Heribert Erl, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marnix Blom during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Rozenburg HC's Marnix Blom got a free kick in the 65th minute. Floris Vonk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jurre Sans, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Luc Spanjer hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Bram Huisman succeeded in the game's 70th minute to get real power on a long shot . Rozenburg HC's Floris Vonk hadn't the time to block the shot which was pasted into the goal, 6-1! In the 74th minute, Heribert Erl made a precise shot to the right of Floris Vonk. Rozenburg HC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-1. Floris Vonk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marick Meindert in the 77th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Rozenburg HC's Carel van Loo got a free kick in the 78th minute. Eric Siepel struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Floris Vonk didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fryslân Boppe. In the 91st minute, Jan Hendrik Roordink hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 93 minutes into the game, Fryslân Boppe's Vionis Spahiu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Floris Vonk made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 10-1.
