Spectators: 7316 (Terracing: 5600, Seating: 1716, VIP seats: 0) AFC Mad Bros's Henk Zoontjens started the match with a crisp pass. Tim Oldenbeuving sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Dulder's zone, Tim Oldenbeuving stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Philip Pietersma came out of the goal and Tim Oldenbeuving tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 25th minute, Ed Moek got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Philip Pietersma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henk Zoontjens in the 27th minute of play. After 29 minutes, Henk Zoontjens made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Dulder's Philip Pietersma tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice moves Henny Molenaar could shoot a difficult shot in the 35th minute, which Gerard van Persie however easily saved by the left post. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 97 in the game by Henk Zoontjens from a close distance when the talented Philip Pietersma managed to make a qualified save. Dulder's players were relieved. AFC Mad Bros played a much better game than Dulder and deserved their victory. The Dulder players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
