Mathijs Saelman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Job Pool having to interfere. 10 minutes into the match, MGKS BABOROW's Werner Douwes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Niclas Dalström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fabiën Swart hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. The supporters of MGKS BABOROW booed when Beetsterweg SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabiën Swart didn't get a good kick on the ball. Niclas Dalström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luc van der Laan in the 17th minute of play. In the 18th match minute, Beetsterweg SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabiën Swart to maneuver through the defense. Job Pool acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 22nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Jordy Roswinkel. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luc van der Laan in the 25th minute of play forced Beetsterweg SC's goalkeeper Niclas Dalström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. MGKS BABOROW's Job Pool played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mathijs Saelman in the 42nd minute of play. With a little luck, MGKS BABOROW's Job Pool got control of the ball when Rolf Sneijder tried to sneak it across the goal line. Job Pool showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabiën Swart in the 48th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luc van der Laan made a kick off. 55 minutes into the match, MGKS BABOROW's goal looked a bit too open when Rolf Sneijder came free, but Job Pool reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 59 played minutes MGKS BABOROW got a freekick which was hit by Carsten van Zwieten. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Rolf Sneijder managed to get in a good position for a shot. Beetsterweg SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rolf Sneijder was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Job Pool made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. When the referee ended the match the Beetsterweg SC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
