The supporters of Smallebrugge booed when Diffelen FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michael Rodenberg didn't get a good kick on the ball.

Jacques van Zaanen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paul Oortwijn, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The Diffelen FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Smallebrugge's performance. The match ended with a win for Smallebrugge.
