Zeist FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mathieu Beukers was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 12 minutes into the match, Zeist FC's Mathieu Beukers sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eelco Ieberink narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jan Schutrups showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaap Roewen, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Eelco Ieberink showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mathieu Beukers in the 69th minute of the match. Dolf Smid hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match.
