Marnix Merenga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerrie Bas in the 17th minute of play. Joost Grommers could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Bill Rieks made a huge save. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Silvolde's goalkeeper Marnix Merenga, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 28 minutes into the match, KALE SPRO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Coenraad Bosz came free, but Bill Rieks reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Silvolde booed when KALE SPRO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vincent Bruin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gerben Cruijff, 60 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Olaf Baan charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Olaf Baan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
