Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Bjorn Even made the kick off and thus started the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ted Driel in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jef Ax saved Strijenham from getting behind. Dick Dussel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jef Ax having to interfere. Tom Randag could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Gregor Stevens made a huge save. 13 minutes into the match, Strijenham's goal looked a bit too open when Dick Dussel came free, but Jef Ax reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15th minute, Melvin Borgman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Strijenham's Jef Ax played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerwin Fens in the 20th minute of play. Corné van Olst received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Gregor Stevens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Strijenham's goalkeeper Jef Ax, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tom Randag received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Gregor Stevens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Corné van Olst had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Corné van Olst came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Strijenham fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Corné van Olst couldn't finish the play. 47 minutes into the match, Tom Randag notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Huizem's Gregor Stevens. Gregor Stevens was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ted Driel during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ted Driel kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. If Dick Dussel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a left leg Jef Ax saved Strijenham from getting behind. 67 minutes into the match, Huizem's Bjorn Even sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jef Ax narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Strijenham's zone, Dick Dussel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jef Ax came out of the goal and Dick Dussel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dick Dussel succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 74th playminute. Bjorn Even sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Huizem's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Klaas Roewen in the 82nd minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Strijenham's goalie and right to Dirk Mussies. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Strijenham's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bjorn Even in the 91st minute of play forced Strijenham's goalkeeper Jef Ax to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 93rd minute, Ted Driel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Corné van Olst recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Strijenham supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Huizem's performance. The match ended with a win for Huizem.
