Dragon Fear's supporters rose to their feet, but Henk Smits was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stijn Hof breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bavinkel's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lukas Adams was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dirk Jan van den Bergh showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lukas Adams in the 56th minute of the match. A collision led to Bavinkel getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Donny van Dijk hit a great ball. Ferdinant de Haan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Dirk Jan van den Bergh made a huge save. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 68th minute, but Dirk Jan van den Bergh got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Dragon Fear hanging dry this time. Ferdinant de Haan struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Dirk Jan van den Bergh didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bavinkel. 74 minutes into the match, Ferdinant de Haan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dirk Jan van den Bergh. In the 85th minute Donny van Dijk suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. Henk Smits's late challenge caught a Bavinkel's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Henk Smits helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Bavinkel booed when Dragon Fear was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henk Smits didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 88th minute of the match Jacques Heuving sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dirk Jan van den Bergh skillfully saved the ball. With a little luck, Dragon Fear's Dirk Jan van den Bergh got control of the ball when Ferdinant de Haan tried to sneak it across the goal line.
