After 14 played minutes Keep Smile got a freekick which was hit by Olof van Steensel. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Keep Smile's goalkeeper Taco Vliet, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 18 minutes into the game, Ooi's Dirk Nedergaard nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Taco Vliet made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. 21 minutes into the game, Keep Smile's Ralf Broerse nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mark Jurjens made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. If Olaf Bot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. Harm Maurits hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Ralf Broerse scored 1-4 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mark Jurjens, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-4.

The wind increased when Foeke Berg made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Ooi's Dirk Nedergaard nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Taco Vliet made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-4. Mark Jurjens made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Ralf Broerse sent off a good shot on target. Foeke Berg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mark Jurjens stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Foeke Berg's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. A collision led to Ooi getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Arie de Zaaijer hit a great ball. After 64 played minutes, Keep Smile's Olof van Steensel shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mark Jurjens came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Keep Smile reached it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Harm Maurits during the 73rd minute. This resulted in a 3-5 score and a disappointed Mark Jurjens as he didn't even see the shot coming. With a little luck, Ooi's Mark Jurjens got control of the ball when Ralf Broerse tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ralf Broerse received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Mark Jurjens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Keep Smile's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
