Spectators: 7432 (Terracing: 5575, Seating: 1709, VIP seats: 148) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Fulgencio Romano kicked off to start the match. 7 minutes into the match, Fulgencio Romano dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Hub Oss, 1-0. Fulgencio Romano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Hub Oss tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 12th minute, Cobus Schenkhuizen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hub Oss showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fulgencio Romano in the 15th minute of the match. Fulgencio Romano spun around in front of the goal 16 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of HRR Den Haag's goal. De Piepies's Steven Heida got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Wim Zoethout hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. In the 21st match minute, De Piepies was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ruben van Zaanen to maneuver through the defense. De Piepies's Mark Tyson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thomas van Zwieten in the 23rd minute of play. In the 26th minute, Rahmi Rehber fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Hub Oss, passed just outside the right post. Fulgencio Romano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Hub Oss tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Steven Heida's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hub Oss read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. In the 32nd minute, De Piepies's Fulgencio Romano dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Steven Heida fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hub Oss having to interfere. After having played for 39 minutes, Fulgencio Romano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. De Piepies's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fulgencio Romano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 44th minute, HRR Den Haag's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Fulgencio Romano fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Thomas van Zwieten stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute, Fulgencio Romano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hub Oss was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Hub Oss showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fulgencio Romano, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Falco Nibbelke kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, HRR Den Haag's Falco Nibbelke got a free kick in the 70th minute. When Fulgencio Romano got free in front of the goal in the 71st minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Hub Oss was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Florian van Heiningen hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the HRR Den Haag defense, Ruben van Zaanen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hub Oss. The HRR Den Haag fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hub Oss should have stopped the shot. Fulgencio Romano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jeroen van Zijl's late challenge caught a HRR Den Haag's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jeroen van Zijl helped the player get up and apologised. Fulgencio Romano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruben van Zaanen in the 91st minute of play forced HRR Den Haag's goalkeeper Hub Oss to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. De Piepies had played much better football throughout.
