Hub Oss made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daan Holthuis in the 20th minute. A collision led to HRR Den Haag getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Cobus Schenkhuizen hit a great ball. Hub Oss made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yorrick Maes in the 24th minute of play. Falco Nibbelke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harris Klooster having to interfere. Thomas van Zwieten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harris Klooster having to interfere. Cobus Schenkhuizen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Harris Klooster showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thomas van Zwieten in the 39th minute of the match. Hub Oss showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yorrick Maes, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. HRR Den Haag's Hub Oss played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yorrick Maes in the 46th minute of play.

The wind increased when Yorrick Maes made the kick off in the second half. When Hans Huizing fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Queen Eertje United's protests and gave Hans Huizing a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of HRR Den Haag booed when Queen Eertje United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hans Huizing didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hub Oss didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daan Holthuis went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. In the 61st minute, Yorrick Maes had to leave the field with a concussion. 61 minutes into the game, Florian van Heiningen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. HRR Den Haag's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Queen Eertje United the free kick. After having played for 67 minutes, Daan Holthuis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Queen Eertje United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daan Holthuis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Queen Eertje United's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
