Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Lucas Niekamp made the kick off which started today's match. Bas van Rhijn's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 4thth minute, Sipke Driel skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Harris Maes kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. In the 8th minute of the match Floris Höhenstein sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sipke Driel skillfully saved the ball. Sipke Driel was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Lex Aerssen showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 13 minute of play. If Boukjan Cramer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Lex Aerssen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sipke Driel was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. In the 28th minute Rogier Weken shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilco Nelissen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bas van Rhijn recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lex Aerssen in the 32nd minute of play forced Delta3's goalkeeper Sipke Driel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lex Aerssen struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Sipke Driel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Slikkendam. Delta3's Sipke Driel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lex Aerssen in the 35th minute of play. Sipke Driel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lex Aerssen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 38 minutes into the match, Delta3's goalkeeper Sipke Driel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bas van Rhijn. Sipke Driel was out of position in the 41 minute of play, and Lex Aerssen capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Lex Aerssen really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lex Aerssen made a kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Slikkendam's Bas van Rhijn nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sipke Driel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. In the 55th minute, Bas van Rhijn got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mirko Roeles hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. In the 61st minute of the match Floris Höhenstein sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sipke Driel skillfully saved the ball. Abraham Bogarde received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Sipke Driel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sipke Driel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bas van Rhijn's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bas van Rhijn in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sipke Driel saved Delta3 from getting behind. Wilco Nelissen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucas Niekamp in the 73rd minute of the match. If Lucas Niekamp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bas van Rhijn in the 77th minute of play forced Delta3's goalkeeper Sipke Driel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sipke Driel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lex Aerssen in the 79th minute of the match. 86 minutes into the game, Slikkendam's Lex Aerssen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot.
