In the 5th minute, Taco Nijsse ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Foeke Venema was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Taco Nijsse in the 8th minute of play forced Afc Childerick's goalkeeper Foeke Venema to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Foeke Venema stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Taco Nijsse's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. Wetering's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Wilco Vrieze 11 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. Wilco Vrieze recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ferry Teuws fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Aalberts having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Taco Nijsse in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Foeke Venema saved Afc Childerick from getting behind. A collision led to Afc Childerick getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Ferry Teuws hit a great ball. After 22 played minutes Afc Childerick got a freekick which was hit by Ferry Teuws. 30 minutes into the match, Taco Nijsse had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Foeke Venema. Afc Childerick's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Taco Nijsse was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. When Riemer Melis fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Wetering's protests and gave Riemer Melis a yellow card for diving instead. In the 33rd minute, Riemer Melis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ferry Teuws kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. After 39 played minutes Wetering got a freekick which was hit by Riemer Melis. Taco Nijsse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Taco Nijsse made the kick off in the second half. Foeke Venema showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evert de Bruin in the 53rd minute of the match. Foeke Venema showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Taco Nijsse, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Nico Zandee received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Foeke Venema tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Foeke Venema made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nico Zandee in the 58th minute. After having played for 60 minutes, Taco Nijsse managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wetering's supporters crossed their fingers, but Taco Nijsse was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nico Zandee could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Foeke Venema made a huge save. Taco Nijsse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 69 minutes, Taco Nijsse managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wetering's supporters crossed their fingers, but Taco Nijsse was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 72 minutes into the game when Jean-Paul Kruis tried to clear up in front of the goal it happened that the ball rolled into goal via right pole. An extremely disappointing self made goal which led to 1-3. Taco Nijsse recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Wetering's Taco Nijsse in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Afc Childerick's goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Taco Nijsse in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Foeke Venema prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Wetering booed when Afc Childerick was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilco Vrieze didn't get a good kick on the ball. 95 minutes into the match, Afc Childerick's goalkeeper Foeke Venema had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nico Zandee.
