The audience was convinced that Bastiaan Aukes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Iwan Schalken was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. Marco Cornelisse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robbie van der Werff in the 89th minute of play. Bregtdorp FC's Marco Cornelisse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robbie van der Werff in the 90th minute of play. After having played for 97 minutes, Bennie Rooze managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nebula FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bennie Rooze was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
